Adora Cherise Salley

Miss Adora Cherise Salley, 59, of Martinez, GA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, February 18, 2019 at her residence. Miss Salley was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on February 9, 1960 to the late William and Annie Salley. She was a 1978 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA, and a US Army veteran. Miss Salley was a member of Bethel Covenant Worship Center in Augusta, GA. She was a Club Demonstration Manager, and presently employed by Costco. Cherishing her memories are three brothers, William “Alonzo” Salley of Neptune, NJ, Christopher Salley of Chase City, VA and Tim Salley (Roslyn) of South Hill, VA; six sisters, Rachel D. Salley, Agatha C. Salley, Audrey Salley and Karen Salley all of Chase City, VA, Michelle A. Salley of South Hill, VA and Vera V. Winbush (Junious) of Henderson, NC, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Adora Cherise Salley will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 25, 2019 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Reginald Bynes, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 P.M. . Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
