Bobby Ray Harris

Mr. Bobby Ray Harris, 57 of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Saturday April 6, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Harris was born in Clarksville, VA March 16, 1956 to Woodell and Bessie Redd. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA. At an early age he joined Harpers Temple Apostolic Church, Clarksville, VA. He was employed by True Green Landscaping, Richmond, VA. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Emma L. Harris of Chase City, VA; six children Malika Duhart of Raleigh, NC, Bobby Ray Jones Jr. (Felicia), Corey Jones (Sheketta) and Christopher Jones all of Chase City, VA, Lenora Jones (Thomas) of Richmond, VA and Latora Jones Reed (Reginald) of Chicago Il; fifteen grandchildren; his father, Woodell Redd of Clarksville, VA; one sister, Tammy Redd of Clarksville, VA; five brothers, Phillip Redd of Clarksville, VA, Odell Redd of Boston, MA, Larry Redd (Pamela) of Norfolk, VA, Jessie Redd (Renee) of Chicago, IL and Willie Redd of Richmond, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Harris will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Elder Charles D. Allen, officiating. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
