Lorraine Downey Revis

Ms. Lorraine Downey Revis, 58, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Ms. Revis was born in South Boston, VA on November 17, 1957 to the late Arthur B. Downey and Earnestine Hunt Nelson. She was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and attended Bibleway Holiness Church, Boydton, VA. Ms. Revis was a former sales clerk at King Video, Clarksville, VA and an avid doll collector. Cherishing her memories are her step-father, Willie B. Nelson of Clarksville, VA; two sons, Derrick Downey (Tarasha Pettaway) and Travis L. Revis both of Clarksville, VA; one daughter, Latasha Revis-Gill of Clarksville, VA; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Ellis, Leroy and Arthur (Brenda) Downey all of Clarksville, VA, Jimmy Garner (Arlene) of Baltimore, MD; four sisters, Loretta Richardson (Calvin) of Boydton, VA, Lois Downey of Henderson, NC, Joann Hunt and Katina Nelson both of Clarksville, VA; devoted friend, Debbie Smallwood and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Ms. Lorraine Downey Revis will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 26, 2016 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Andy Hargrove, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery, Clarksville, VA. Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H .Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
