Ponchitta Pierce Knuckles

Miss Ponchitta Pierce Knuckles, 47, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Miss Knuckles was born in South Boston, VA on February 27, 1970 to the late Archie Connell Knuckles, Jr. and Katherine Juanita Talley Knuckles. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA and was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School. She furthered her education at St. Paul’s College, earning a degree in English. Cherishing her memories are two brothers, Kenneth Juan Knuckles of McLean, VA and Archie Connell Knuckles III of Upper Marlboro, MD; three sisters, Deborah Blackwell of Mount Vernon, NY, Brenda Hardy and Diana Hamer both of Pacolet, SC; an uncle, Harold Dean Knuckles of Spartanburg, SC; devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome and Patricia Watson and Melton and Michael Newton, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Ponchitta Pierce Knuckles will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Second Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Marvin Bowman delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery, Clarksville, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Arrangements are by C.H.
