Richard Allen Kovacs

Mr. Richard Allen Kovacs, 65, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Envoy of Lawrenceville. Mr. Kovacs was born in Long Island, NY on March 11, 1954 to the late George and Violet Kovacs. He was a graduate of Long Island City High School. Mr. Kovacs was a former maintenance employee for River Wynd and Lakewood apartments, and in his spare time enjoyed music and computers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Kovacs. Cherishing his memories are his devoted friend and companion, June C. Hamlette-Bethell of Lawrenceville, VA; two adopted grandchildren, Kymani S. McClymont and Randy Lane both of Bronx, NY, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Services will be private. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
