Miss Shirley Ann Logan, 57, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at her residence. Miss Logan was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 14, 1954 to the Late Walter Logan and Alice B. Evans Logan. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County and was an employee of Mecklenburg County Public school Transportation Dept. for over 22 years. She also was a CNA employed with Americare. Miss Logan was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA where she served as Missionary treasurer for many years. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Pulliam King and one brother, Walter Lee Logan Jr. Cherishing her memories are one son, Daniel Pulliam King (Dee Dee), Boydton, VA; three daughters, Shirley Pulliam, Chermir and Tynesha Mayfield of Boydton, VA four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two adopted grandchildren, one adopted great grandchild; her mother, Alice Logan of Boydton, VA; four sisters, Ernestine (Albert), Adele, Betty all of Boydton, VA and Dorothy Green of Baskerville, VA; one brother, James four aunts, six uncles; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Shirley Ann Logan will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
