Vickie Yvette Marable

Miss Vickie Yvette Marable, 34, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Monday, September 13, 2010 at her residence. Miss Marable was born in Mecklenburg County, VA Sept. 20, 1975 to Paul and Mattie Lee Wilson Marable. Vickie was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School and was employed by Wheaton Tubing until her health began to fail. She was a member of Harpers Temple.   Vickie was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Marable.   Cherishing her memories  are two sons, Joshua, and Ja’ Quan Marable of Chase City, VA; one daughter, Jessica Marable of Chase City, VA; her parents, Paul and Mattie Marable of Skipwith, VA; four brothers, Calvin Paul Marable, Arthur and Mitchell Boyd of Chase City, VA; three sisters, Delorse Marable of Danville, VA, Sharon Crawley and Tracey Crute of Chase City, VA;  great grandmother,  Pearlene Marable of Chase City, VA two sisters-in-law, Latoya Marable and Melissa Marable; one brother-in-law, Albert Crawely  devoted friend, William Taylor and a vast number of other loving realtives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Vickie Yvette Marable will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 17, 2010 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Elder Vernell Harper, officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith-Tucker Cemetery, Chase City, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.   Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
