Willie Harvey Goode

Mr. Willie Harvey Goode, 75, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest Friday, August 10, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Goode was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 27, 1943 to the late Hammit Goode and Marilyn Elzenor Baptist. He was a 1961 graduate of West End High School, and a member of Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, Nelson, Va. Mr. Goode was retired from Goodyear Tire in Danville, VA, and was a US Army Veteran. He was vice president of The Possie Motorcycle Club, Clarksville, VA. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Mary T. Goode; one son, Michael Burrell; two daughters, Rita Huston and Rever Goode; two step-daughters, Rita Marrow and Janita Eubanks, one step-son, Dennis Best (Terrie); seven grandchildren, Erick Huston II, Angelica Huston, Zorah Huston, Dawn Nelson, Teyondra Best, Jeffrey Eubanks, Jr. and Elijah Best, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Willie Harvey Goode will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, Nelson, VA with Rev. Harold Watkins delivering the eulogy. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
