Anthony Kashawn Townes, Jr.

Mr. Anthony Kashawn Townes, Jr. 19, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on December 14, 2025.

Mr. Townes was born in South Boston, VA to Shaquanah Hall and Anthony Townes, Sr. He was a graduate of Mecklenburg County High School in Baskerville, VA. Anthony was a bright light in all our lives. He had a smile that could change the mood of a room and a heart that loved deeply. He brought meaning and purpose to those around him and his love for his family and daughter, A’Lara, was evident in everything he did.

He is survived by his cherished daughter, A’Lara; his loving parents Shaquanah Hall and Anthony Townes Sr.,  his grandmother, Barbara Mosley, his siblings, Zaniarah, Ahmidiyah, Elijah, Kasiyah, Malachi and Isaiah, who will forever miss their brother, protector, and friend, and  a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funerals services for Mr. Anthony Kashawn Townes, Jr. will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Roger Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M.
