Arvella Howell Evans

Mrs. Arvella Howell Evans, 80, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Canterbury Health and Rehab Center, Richmond, VA. Mrs. Evans was born in Mecklenburg County, VA October 31, 1939 to the late Aaron and Bessie Haskins Howell. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, and attended Greenwood Baptist Church in Boydton, VA. Mrs. Evans was a retired seamstress. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Carnell Evans Sr., and nine siblings. Cherishing her memories are two sons, Carnell Evans, Jr. of Boydton, VA and Carlos Evans (Ashley) of Glen Allen, VA; three daughters, Irene Thompson of Laurel, MD, and Tywanna Evans and Tanisha Evans both of Glen Allen, VA; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Aaron Howell of Baltimore, MD, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
