Bernard Jr. Clark

Mr. Bernard Clark, Jr., 70, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, Emporia, VA. Mr. Clark was born in Mecklenburg County, VA July 19, 1943 to the late Bernard Sr. and Bessie Tucker Clark.  He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA.  Mr. Clark was a retired farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosa Ann Bullock and Mary Kate Sturdivant and two brothers, Ben Clark and Willie Lee Sturdivant. Cherishing his memories are three brothers, John Sturdivant, James Otis Sturdivant and Harold Clark all of Chase City, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Bernard Clark, Jr. will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA.
