Mr. Bertram Giles Gary, 48, of Roselle NJ entered eternal rest Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ. Mr. Gary was born in East Orange, NJ to Dorothy M. and Eddie Gary. He attended Roselle Catholic and graduated from Abraham Clark High School. He also attended North Carolina Central, Durham, NC. Mr. Gary was formerly employed as a cross country truck driver. Cherishing his memories are his mother, Dorothy Marlene Gary of Roselle, NJ; father, Eddie Gary of Linden, NJ; two brothers, Jakeel E. Gary of Elizabeth, NJ and Tyrell R. Gary of Linden, NJ; two sisters, Layteeya V. Gary and Onay L. Gary of Linden, NJ; Uncle, Ernest C. Farrar (Marie) of Chase City, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Jeffrey Davis, officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bertram Giles Gary Scholarship Fund, 1046 Harrison Ave., Roselle, NJ 07203.
