Miss Bessie Martin 89, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Miss Martin is survived by devoted friends, Mrs. Wendy Crabtree, and Mrs. Stella Newsom and the staff of Chase City Nursing and Rehabilitation. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Bethany Baptist Church, Baskerville, VA with Rev. Ronnie Campbell, officiating. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St., Chase City, VA.
