Billy G. Smith

Mr. Billy Gray Smith, 65, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 13, 2024 at Central Virginia VA Health Care System, Richmond, VA.

Mr. Smith was born in Skipwith, VA on August 1, 1958 to Anna C. Smith and the late Vincent Smith. He was a graduate of West End High School in Skipwith, VA where he excelled in track and field and football. Mr. Smith attended Rocky Mount Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed listening to music, boxing, watching sports, and reading.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Shirley Boyd, Ruth Hayes and Dianna Morton; and a nephew, Barry Smith.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Anna C. Smith of Skipwith, VA; three sisters, Linda Boswell of Chase City, VA, Peggy Glenn of Colonial Heights, VA and Audrey M. Smith of Richmond, VA; brother, Adrian M. Smith of Clarksville, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Billy G. Smith will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 21, 2024 at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, Amelia Court House, VA.
