Blanche Ann Luciel Holtsclaw Goode

Ms. Blanche Ann Luciel Holtsclaw Goode, 82, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Ms. Goode was born in Mecklenburg County, VA June 18, 1942 to the late Ramon and Aster Scott Holtsclaw. She was a 1960 graduate of West End High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of Saint Mark Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA. She attended beauty school and her longest career was at Burlington Industries for nearly 40 years until retiring in 2003.

She was previously married to the late Harvey Goode. This union was blessed with two daughters. Ann was known as a gifter of handmade blankets, quilts, scarfs and her sweet potato pies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Elam and her brothers, Randy Holtsclaw and Jerry Holtsclaw.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters, Rita and Rever; grandchildren, Erick II, Angelica (David) and Zorah; niece, Ayesha; nephews, Wesley and Kameron; great-nieces, Madisyn and Makenzie, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. James Isaac delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Saint Mark Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 at the funeral home.
