Catherine Terry Jones

Mrs. Catherine Terry Jones, 63, of Henderson, NC entered eternal rest Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Hock Family Pavilion, Durham, NC. Mrs. Jones was born in Mecklenburg County, VA July 21, 1950 to the late Accia Sr. and Fannie Jones Terry. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of St. John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA, where she was a member of the missionary. She also was a former employee of Burlington Industries, Clarksville, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Moses Jones and one daughter, Felice C. Terry. Cherishing her memories are  two daughters, Coretta Ivy Lockley (Herman) and LaWanda Brandon (Corey) both of Henderson, NC; one step-daughter, Edna Parham of Henderson, NC;  three grandchildren, Tania  and Tatiana Brandon and Darren Terry of Henderson, NC; four sisters; Laureen Burton (Larry) of Henderson, NC, Teresa Bullock (Barry) of Oxford, NC, Mary A. Lewis (Victor) of Clarksville, VA and Marcella Terry of Durham, NC; six brothers; James (Jenny) of Alexandria VA, Chester (Latrice) of Columbia, SC, Accia (Mable) of Clarksville VA, Rev. Earl  (Rose) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Michael (Mozell) of Oxford, NC and Melvin (Cynthia) of Boydton, VA; one brother-in-law, James Jones (Patricia) of Henderson, NC; three sisters-in-law, Aileen White (Dennis)  of Richmond, VA,  Estelle Jones and Naomi Jones and a vast number of other loving and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Jones will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Earl Terry delivering the eulogy.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.   Service 2:00 P.M.
