Cecil Roosevelt Puryear

Mr. Cecil Roosevelt Puryear, 63, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Puryear was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on March 12, 1956 to the late Cecil Eugene and Emma Mae Puryear. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, and was formerly employed as a truck driver for Burlington Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Fuller Puryear; a daughter, Connie Puryear Skipwith, and a son, Cecil Puryear, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are two daughters, Spring Puryear of Clarksville, VA and Olivia Puryear of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren; his siblings, James Puryear, Dianne Stukes (Wardell), Shirley Coleman (Herbert), Steven Puryear (Vickey), Joe Puryear all of Buffalo Junction, VA and Patricia Sanford of Durham, NC; three uncles, Louis Puryear and Freddie Puryear (Mary) all of Buffalo Junction, VA and Tom Puryear of East Orange, NJ, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
