Mr. Charles D. Smith, 76, of Alberta, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 in Alberta, VA. Mr. Smith was born in Chase City, VA May 25, 1935 to the late Robert Lee and Lillian Tucker Smith. Cherishing his memories are five children, one sister, one brother and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Services were private. Inurnment was at Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
