Delores G. Harris-Luck

Ms. Delores G. Harris-Luck better known as Tabby or Dee, 62, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, February 7, 2008 at her residence. Ms. Harris-Luck was born in Mecklenburg County, VA January 26, 1945 to the late William and Geneva Bowers Harris. She was a graduate of West End High School, Skipwith, VA and furthered her education at Durham Business College, Durham, NC. She retired from the District of Columbia as a Tax Revenue officer. Cherishing her memories are two sisters, Loretta Harris (Charles) of Clarksville, VA, Mildred H. South of Skipwith, VA; two brothers, Willie Marshall Harris (Flora) and Percy Leon Harris (Janice) all of Skipwith, VA; one uncle, Harvey Harris of Skipwith, VA; three aunts and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Ms. Delores G. Harris-Luck will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Kenneth Stokes, officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Family Cemetery, Skipwith, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Flowers are acceptable or contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 104 Dan Circle, Clarksville, VA 23927. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main, Chase City, VA.
