Doris Ann Timberlake

Mrs. Doris Ann Timberlake, 79, of Skipwith, VA, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

 Born in Mecklenburg County, VA on April 10, 1946, Doris was the daughter of the late Harvey and Gladys Pulliam Harris and graduated from West End High School in 1964. She  was previously employed as a seamstress at Jonbil, Inc., and later as the business manager of Timberlake Masonry. She was a  member of New Light Baptist Church,  She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, indulging in hobbies such as sewing, reading, and watching westerns. Her thriving flower garden brought her happiness, as did her beloved dogs and her parakeet, Tweety, who were loyal companions.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest “Butch” Timberlake, her sister, Laverne Thomas, and her parents, Harvey and Gladys Harris. She is survived by her daughter, Yvette Timberlake of Skipwith, VA, as well as a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

 A memorial service to honor Doris will be scheduled at a future date. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
