Mr. Edward Holmes, 65, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest Friday, September 30, 2011 at Chase City Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Holmes was born in Lunenburg County, VA Oct. 17, 1945 to the late Rosa Mae Holmes. He attended the schools and was raised in Richmond, VA. Cherishing his memories are two sisters, Mrs. Annie Walker and Mrs. Dorothy Scott both of Richmond, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
