Edward Jr. Bullock

Mr. Edward Bullock, Jr., 56, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. Bullock was born in Skipwith, VA March 3, 1955 to the late John Stone and Jeanette Bullock.  He was educated in the Mecklenburg County Schools, and was a former employee of Burlington Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rachael Mae Bullock and a step son Donald Boyd. Cherishing his memories are his children; Kimberly Roberts, Harriman, NY, Tarrance T. Bullock, Chase City, VA;  step children Michael Boyd, Oklahoma City, OK, and Wanda Boyd, of Clarksville, VA; seven grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Mae Moore of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Leroy Bullock (Phyllis), and Melvin Anderson, all of Chase City, VA. A graveside funeral service for Mr. Edward Bullock, Jr.  will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery,Skipwith, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Public viewing for Mr. Bullock will begin 10:00A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
