Esther D. Smith

Miss Esther D. Smith, 48, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, July 30, 2009 in Richmond, VA.   Miss Smith was born in Mecklenburg County VA, to Larry K. Smith and Ruby (Goode) Bullock.  Cherishing her memories is a son, Joe Smith Jr., of CT, three grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Ruby L. Bullock of Chase City, two sisters, Mary Alice Smith of Richmond, and Ruby Dailey of Chase City, two brothers Rayvon Smith and John Smith of Bridgeport, CT; a devoted friend, Oscar and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Esther Smith will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the chapel of Giles- Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Minister Patricia Liggon officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
