Fred Marshall Terry

Mr. Fred Marshall Terry, 74, of Nelson, VA departed this life on October 18, 2026 at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, NC.

Mr. Terry, known to many as "BO" or "Bhe Bho", was born on April 14, 1952 to the late Marion M. Terry, Sr. and Eliza B. Terry. He was a 1971 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Terry worked various jobs and spent his career with Greyhound where he drove bus for over twenty-five years. Fred also loved and enjoyed working on cars most of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Terry; and his four siblings, Lola Laney, Chester Terry, Marion Terry Jr. and Vera Garner.

He leaves to cherish one daughter, Ifama Terry; two stepdaughters, LaTonya Pounds (Robert) and Antonia Murphy (Leon), one stepson, Henry Roby, Jr.; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Torres Terry (Rita); one sister, Evonnie Gbadebo, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 30, 2026 at Antioch United Church of Christ Cemetery, Henderson, NC with Rev. Andy Hargrove, officiating.
