Gloria Blanks Wilburn

Ms. Gloria Blanks Wilburn, 81, of Clarksville, VA passed Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Ms. Wilburn was born in Oxford, NC, on March 5, 1945, to the late Keister Blanks, Sr. and Virginia Tuck Blanks. She was a 1963 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Richmond, VA, and a graduate of Southside Virginia Community College. She was a retiree of Mecklenburg Correctional Center, Boydton, VA. In her spare time, she enjoyed making rum cakes, reading, watching Murder Mysteries, walking with her friends, traveling, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tony Page Blanks, Keister Boyd Blanks, Jr. Thomas Michael Blanks Sr.

She his survived by her son, Charles Thomas (Tommy) Wilburn Jr. (Pamela), of Fort Myers, Fl her daughter, Toni Denise Garrett of Clarksville, VA; grandchildren, Shawn Nunn (Nikki) Austin and Jessie Harrison, Bradley Harrison, Shannon Hardy and Carolann Harrison; great grandchildren, Niles Nunn, Knox Nunn, Rhett and Braxtyn Harrison and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, at Oakhurst Cemetery, Clarksville, VA.
