James Curtis Hardy

Mr. James Curtis Hardy, 67, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, March 29, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Hardy was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on October 28, 1953 to the late Woodrow and Mildred Hardy. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, and was formerly employed by Cargo Furniture in Chase City. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara White and brother, Woodrow, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Victoria Hector of Clarksville, VA, Zakeema Hester, Kamilya Reavis and Shanetta Hester all of Chase City, VA; twelve grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Hardy of Skipwith, VA and Warren Hardy of Emporia, VA; two sisters, Joyce Hardy of Clarksville, VA and Nancy “Carolyn” Hayes of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
