James Oliver

Mr. James Oliver, 79, of Chase City, VA and formerly of Lunenburg County entered eternal rest Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Chase City Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chase City, VA. Mr. Oliver was born in Mecklenburg County, VA, December 9, 1926 and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife Mable T. Oliver. Mr. Oliver is survived by a host of cousins and a devoted friend Mr. Ace Douglas of Chase City, VA. Funeral services for Mr. James Oliver will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 3, at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. James Goode, officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
