Karlei Alaya Taylor

Baby Karlei Alaya Taylor, of Chase City, VA, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Karlei was born on June 27, 2019 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA to loving parents Candace Taylor and Roger Thaxton. Our sweet, precious angel loved to cuddle, and truly loved her sister, Kaylei. When she smiled, she would light up the room and melt your heart. In addition to her parents, Karlei is survived by one sister, Kaylie Taylor of Chase City, VA; her maternal grandmother, Kelly O. Hatcher (Michael) of Chase City, VA; her maternal grandfather, Bedford Taylor of Clarksville, VA; her paternal grandparents, Roger, Sr. and Christine Thaxton of South Boston, VA; maternal great-grandmothers, Brenda Hatcher of Chase City, VA and Labinda Taylor (Bobby) of Chesterfield, VA, eight aunts, four uncles, and a vast number of other loving relatives. A memorial service for Baby Karlei Alaya Taylor will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Deacon Roger Thaxton, Sr. conducting the service.
