Lillian Christine Jackson

Mrs. Lillian Christine Jackson, 72, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at UVA Health Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Charlotte County, VA on December 9, 1953 to the late Lillian Fowlkes Boyd and Nathaniel Boyd, Sr. She was a 1973 graduate of Randolph Henry High School and a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA. Mrs. Jackson was formerly employed by Burlington Industries and Care Rehabilitation. Christine enjoyed fishing, cooking and caring for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Curtis Thomas Boyd, James Boyd, Mataw Boyd, Thomas Boyd, Nathaniel Boyd, Lillie Boyd, Kathryn Boyd, Janice L. Boyd, Florence Hargrove, Adam Tyree Boyd and Everlean Boyd.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, James Jackson, Jr. of Chase City, VA; three brothers, Steven Boyd of New Jersey, Nathaniel Boyd, Jr. of North Carolina and Nathaniel Boyd, III of Chase City, VA; two sisters, Carol Boyd of Paterson, NJ and Madeline Boyd Moamin of Perryville, MD, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Christine Jackson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Dennis King, officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery, Chase City. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M.
