Little Miss Kamille Ava Grace Smith

Little Miss Kamille Ava Grace Smith, age two, was gently lifted from this world on February 1, 2026.

Kamille was born on October 14, 2023 to parents, Ja’Von Smith and Jasmine Smith. Her laughter could lift a room, her smile brought peace, and her presence reminded everyone who knew her that God sends angels in small packages. Kamille’s time on earth was brief, yet her impact was deep and everlasting. Heaven’s gain was our loss when our beautiful little angel was called by our Lord.

Kamille was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Smith; paternal bonus uncle, Amotio Smith; and her uncles, Erik Smith and Evan Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Ja’Von “Nuss” Smith and Jasmine Smith; her beloved siblings, King, Kailani, and Kamaya; her grandparents, Queena Carden (Carl), Nikki Smith, Patricia Walker, and Eric Smith and Wilma Smith; paternal and maternal great-grandmothers, Betty Smith and Martha Walker; uncles, De’Quan Smith (Constance), Ja’Mier Smith (Tracey), Lamont Smith, and Karl Carden (Kayla) Devon Parrish, Quintin Smith, and Jaelyn Clark,; aunts, Karolyn Gillis (Camere), Kiarra Gillis, De’Quasha Smith, and Sharail Mangum; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Little Miss Kamille Ava Grace Smith will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Dennis King officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Sunday from 1:00 until 1:45 P.M.
