Marie Fuller Green

Mrs. Marie Fuller Green 72, of Clarksville, VA entered into eternal rest Friday, October 14, 2011 at Kindred Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mrs. Green was born in Hackensack, New Jersey July 6, 1939, the daughter of the late Johnny Fuller and Ester Mae Gregory-Byron. Marie received her formal education in the Mecklenburg County Public School System. She was a member of The House of Prayer,  Clarksville, Virginia. She was a former employee of Jonbil Inc. and also worked in the health care field as a nurses aide. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Harvey Jr. (Junnie) and Lyndon Elton Green (Limbo); one granddaughter, Keisha Downs;  and one brother, Donald Gregory. She is survived by her loving husband, Willie E. Green of Richmond, VA.; seven children, Maxine Fuller of Atlanta, GA, Ernestine Harvey Fielder of South Hill, VA, Jerry Harvey of King George, VA, Alexander Harvey of Clarksville, VA, Margaret Green of Orlando, Fl, Willie Ruth Green-Ferguson (Allen) of Richmond, VA, Sherwood Green of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren, two of whom she help raise Baseema and Brian, thirteen great-grandchildren; step-father, Clarence Sinclair Byron  of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Lucille Steele of Norristown, PA and Martha Ruth Payno (Percy) of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Steven Jerome McCadney of New York City, NY; mother-in-law, Margaret Green of South Boston, VA; three brothers-in-law, Larry Green (Sarah) of South Boston, VA, James Green (Betty) of South Boston, VA and William Green (Coreen) of Newport News, VA and a vast number of  loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Fuller Green will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at The House of Prayer, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Charles W. Davidson, officiating. Burial will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, VA. Her remains rest at Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA where the family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 7 P.M.. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
