Marvin La'Quan Davis

Mr. Marvin La’Quan Davis, 28, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Mr. Davis was born in South Boston, VA on September 19, 1996 to John Davis, III and Rhonda Cypress. At an early age, he was baptized at Harper’s Temple and attended Bluestone High School in Skipwith where he excelled in football as Baron #42. He received his high school diploma from Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing basketball.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Akim Davis; stepfather, Anthony Cypress; maternal grandparents, Henry Hutcherson, Jr. and Ella Brown, and two uncles.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory two daughters, Ny’la Davis and Layla Davis; his parents, Rhonda Cypress and John Davis, III; seven brothers, Donald Clayton, Jr., Dashay Harris, Michael Davis, John Davis IV, Samuel Davis, Michael Barrett and Johnathan Barrett; three sisters, Jenelle Davis, Shawniece Barrett and Ka’tisha Lewis; paternal grandparents, John and Peggy Davis, ten uncles, seven aunts, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A public viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at C. H. Harris Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
