Michael Leburn Jackson

Mr. Michael Leburn Jackson, 72, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, September 28, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Jackson was born in Lunenburg County, VA on February 12, 1954 to the late Curtis and Mae Pearl Callahan Jackson. At an early age, he was baptized at Concord Baptist Church. Later in life, he joined West Hill Baptist Church in Victoria, VA. He was a dedicated and highly skilled electrician and retired from Lunenburg County Public Schools after many years of faithful service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Ronnie, Marsha, Joyce, and Roger Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Gayle Barnette Jackson; his siblings, Patricia Hines, Leon Jackson, Willie Jackson, Steve Jackson, Curtis Jackson, Rhonda Jackson, and Phyllis J. Moore (Roy); one aunt, Ozzie Jackson, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Interim Pastor Rev. Dr. Lamont D. Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
