Norman Jones

Mr. Norman Jones, 84, of Newark, NJ and formerly of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at  Lyons Campus- Veteran Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. Mr. Jones was born in Mecklenburg County, VA, April 29, 1924 to the late James and Annie Shelton Jones. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was an army veteran of WWII.  Mr. Jones was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. Cherishing his memories are his loving nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA with Rev. Linda Goode, officiating. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
