Octavia Lee Alexander

Mrs. Octavia Lee Alexander, 82, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Clarksville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Alexander was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on October 8, 1943 to the late Robert Edward and Lucille Brooks Lee. She attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and joined New Hope Baptist Church in Boydton, VA at an early age. She was previously employed by Russel Stover Candies, Inc. and Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory. She had a loving heart and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, two children, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and eleven siblings.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Patsy Small (Robert) and Sandra Hayes (Alvester) of Skipwith, VA;; two sons, Ronald Terry (Rhonda) of Nathalie, VA and Quincy Terry (Rekietha) of Beaufort, SC, fourteen grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Octavia Lee Alexander will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Earl Terry officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing will begin on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 PM.
