Patricia Ann Boyd

Ms. Patricia Ann Boyd, 71, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at her residence.

Ms. Boyd, affectionately known as “Trish”, was born on January 23, 1955 in Mecklenburg County to the late Roberta Bacon White. At an early age she joined Silone Baptist Church in Chase City, and graduated from Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA. She attended Southside Virginia Community College, Virginia State University, and graduated from St. Paul’s College Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. She also attended Baltimore Urban League Information Processing Training Center and graduated head of her class. Ms. Boyd retired from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where she worked for a research doctor. Trish enjoyed reading, dancing, singing, and watching her favorite TV shows.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Wallace White, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Lillie Mae Bacon; maternal grandfather, Albert Boyd, Sr., two uncles and one aunt.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories one aunt, Nannie B. Allen; three cousins, Shirley Toombs, Larry Hayes, and Curtis Hayes; her loving caregivers, Thelma and Jennifer Marable; special family friends, Loraine Atkins and Markeith White, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside service for Ms. Patricia Ann Boyd will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer officiating.
