Quincy Monic Pettus

Mr. Quincy Monic Pettus, 58, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Pettus was born in South Hill, VA on September 11, 1967 to James Pettus and the late Doris Robertson Pettus. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Boydton. Mr. Pettus was previously employed by Morgan Lumber Company as a truck driver and was a United States Army veteran. Quincy was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing and being around his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Teresea Smith Pettus of Boydton, VA; his father, James Pettus of Boydton, VA; one brother, Lindsey Pettus of Chase City, VA; three sisters, Regina Hatcher of Chase City, VA, Cassandra Roberts of Boydton, VA and Carletta Terry of Bullock, NC, two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Quincy Monic Pettus will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Friday, September 11, 2026 at Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Elder Kenyatta Evans, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
