Ray Anthony Oliver

Mr. Ray Anthony Oliver, 67, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Oliver was born August 10, 1958 to the late Margaret Powell and Andrew Tucker. He received his early education in the Mecklenburg County School System. He was a member of Silone Baptist Church in Chase City, VA and a former employee of Burlington Industries. Mr. Oliver loved watching wrestling and crime shows.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory three children, LaTesha Oliver, Cierra Oliver both of Chase City, VA and Quincy Penick (Rafiah) of Danville, VA; five siblings, Calvin Oliver (Audrey), Joyce Oliver and Ricky Oliver all of Chase City, VA, Janice Oliver (Ty) of Richmond, VA and Steve Oliver of Roanoke, VA; nine grandchildren, Quincy, Jr., Qua’mon, Javion, Naomi, Zy’Bria, Zakaya, Kimari, Kimani and Zy’nae; special friend, Brenda Penick, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Ray Anthony Oliver will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
