Regina Smith

Ms. Regina Smith, 63, of Red Oak, VA entered eternal rest Monday, June 15, 2026 in Richmond, VA.

Ms. Smith was born in Charlotte County, VA June 21, 1962 to the late Joel Harris and Lillie Byrd Smith. She was a graduate of Randolph Henry High School and a member of Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA. She was formerly employed by Burlington Industries. In her leisure time she enjoyed softball, watching westerns and taking care of people.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her sisters, Ophelia Daniel, and Sharon Dodd; her brothers, Paul, Silas and Wayne Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Daisy Pettus of Red Oak, VA and Teresea Pettus (Quincy) of Boydton, VA; her brothers, Walter Smith (JoAnn) and Chester Smith (Jackie) of Red Oak, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Red Oak. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
