Roger Session

Mr. Roger Session, 55, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at The Woodview Nursing Home, South Boston, VA.  Mr. Session was born in Red Oak, VA October 25, 1958 to the late Willie and Virgie Pettus Session.  He received his formal education in the Brooklyn Public Schools and was a former employee of Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY as a custodian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three aunts and three uncles. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Sheena Sapp  Session of  New York, four daughters, Kimberly Session, Peaches Session, Sable Session and KiyonniaSession; one stepson, Derrick; 10 grandchildren; 1-great-grandchild; one sister, Irene C. Session of Red Oak, VA; one aunt, Elizabeth “Catbird” Mae Smithson of Clarksville, VA; three uncles, Jordan Pettus, Alfred Pettus and Matthew Pettus (Inez); two nephews, Franklin Session and Brandon Sapp; one niece, Michelle Wright; four special siblings, Wanda Venable, Pamela Lancaster and Larry and Reginald Boyd; his CNA Christina Lancaster  and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Roger Session will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the home of his sister, Irene C. Session. Arrangements are by C. H.
