Ronald Winfred Jones

Mr. Ronald Winfred Jones, 65, of Victoria, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Jones was born in Montclair, NJ on August 5, 1954 to the late Grover and Marie Dobbins Jones. He was a graduate of Barringer High School in Newark, NJ, and he attended Montclair State College. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the US Army, and a car inspector for Norfolk Southern Railway. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, building race cars and “talking trash”. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Mary Glenda Jones Foster of Victoria, VA; two daughters, Alice Foster of Newark, NJ and Shaun Foster of Victoria, VA; three grandchildren; one brother, Robert Jones (Daphne) of Newark, NJ; two sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Ronald Winfred Jones will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
