Sarah Lee Clark

Mrs. Sarah Lee Clark, 65, of South Hill, VA entered eternal rest Monday, August 12, 2013 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Clark was born in Mecklenburg County, VA November 22, 1947 to the late Herbert and Jeanette Osborne Lyons. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. She was a homemaker.   In addition to her father, Mrs. Clarks was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Clark, one son, Charles Clark and one brother, Frank Lyons. Cherishing her memories are four children, Martha Menjibar of South Hill, VA , Cherie Crawley of Union Level, VA, Bessie Clark of Baskerville, VA and Sarah Clark of South Chesterfield, VA; one step-son,  Bobby Winkler of Richmond, VA; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her mother, Jeanette O. Lyons; one sister, Jennie Puryear (Donnell) of Chase City, VA; four brothers, Willie Lyons (Debra) of Clarksville, VA, Wallace Lyons of Chase City, VA, Herbert Lyons (Dorothy) and Ralph Lyons (Belinda) all of Skipwith, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Lee Clark will be conducted  2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be  Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
