Stephen Terry, Jr.

Mr. Stephen Terry, Jr., 90, of Colonial Heights, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Terry was born in Clarksville, VA on June 20, 1935, to the late Mammie Webb and Stephen Terry, Sr. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County and moved north to New York where he met his wife, Mary Terry ; this union was blessed with two children. Mr. Terry retired from Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company with over 45 years of dedicated service. He returned to his home state of Virginia and enjoyed the rest of his days. Stephen was a man of few words, however when he spoke, he made sure his words were meaningful and also gave you a good laugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Terry; two brothers, Len Terry and James Terry; two sisters, Eliza Terry and Lucille Terry Royster; one daughter-in-law, Regina Terry; and one grandchild, Lamel Bloodsaw.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory two children, Jeanette and Tyrone; eight grandchildren, Rotanetta, Tyrina, Jeathel, Shaqwana, Keyanda, Shamell, Christopher and Tyanna; eight great-grandchildren, Tadae, Zaquell, Dwight, Zayla, Kimora, Gianna, Mijae and Khi’yan; brother, Nathaniel Terry (Roberta); sister, Emma Mae Venable (Sydney), and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Stephen Terry, Jr. will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2 Cemetery, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Dr. B. Angeloe Burch, Sr. officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Thursday from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
