Tazhon Jamari William Goode

Mr. Tazhon Jamari William Goode, 22, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Tazhon was born in South Hill, VA on June 18, 2003, to William Goode and Natasha Hayes. He was a 2021 graduate of Bluestone High School, Skipwith, VA and was employed with Amazon. In his leisure time he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, target practice, gaming and basketball.

Tazhon was preceded in death by his sister, Tazhiana Imari Deja’Nique Goode; maternal grandmother, Elona Hayes; paternal grandmother, Mary Lewis; nephew, Yeremiah Brown and his niece, Makeya Davis.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother, Natasha Hayes-Rogers (Clarence); father, William “Wayne” Goode; seven sisters, Kianya Bouldin (Kenya), Latina Patterson, Monique Goode, Jamila Goode Thomas, Kamila Goode Spencer, Al-nisa Goode, Monica Goode and a bonus sister, Tara Rogers; seven brothers, Keymon Davis (Rebecca), Cedrick Patterson, Adam Goode, Wayne Goode, William, Goode, Malik Goode and Ryan Goode; maternal grandfather, Larry W. Hayes, Sr., and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Brenda Brown, delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Hayes Family Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Public viewing will begin on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.
