Willie Mcduffie Jr.

Mr. Willie McDuffie Jr., 79, of Clarksville, VA died Friday, October 8, 2010 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. McDuffie was born in Durham, NC December 2, 1930 to the late Willie Sr. and Mary Marie Hudgins McDuffie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a Geological Surveyor for the U.S. Government prior to retiring. Mr. McDuffie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, South Hill, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma McDuffie. Mr. McDuffie is survived by one son, Larry Colvin (Malinda) of Durham, NC; two grandchildren, Marsha C. Moore (Kendrick) and Lisa M. Colvin; one great-grandson, Jordan Moore; three sisters, Elizabeth Lundy (Richard), JoAnn Gordon and Annie McDuffie and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, South Hill, VA with Jim White conducting the service. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation service, Clarksville, VA.
